Since being in preschool with him, she has absolutely thrived. Her confidence, learning, interactions and overall progress have been amazing, and I couldn't be happier! Having experienced the nursery before and after the changes, I can honestly say it has improved so much. Myles genuinely listens to parents, works closely with families, and goes above and beyond to give every child the best possible start. Even right up until graduation, the team really went above and beyond and made it such a special celebration. My daughter will really miss Busy Bees, and I'm so grateful for everything.

Our daughter has been attending since she turned two, and we're so happy that she'll be staying for another year as she has an end-of-September birthday. Since joining, we've seen incredible growth in her confidence, independence, and development. She's been in the preschool room for the past year, and we couldn't be happier with the care and support she receives. A special thank you to Myles, her key person, who is such a dedicated and caring teacher. He always comes up with creative and engaging activities that keep the children happy while helping them learn something new every week. It's clear how much effort and passion he puts into his work. We also love receiving regular observations and lots of photos through the app, which allow us to see everything our daughter is learning and enjoying throughout the day. Thank you
- AWAmelie WilliamsJul 7, 20264.0⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ Our experience at Busy Bees has been a mixture of genuine excellence and some disappointing operational issues. Without question, the biggest asset this nursery has is Myles. He is, by a long mile, the best nursery practitioner I have ever come across. He is caring, engaging, calm and genuinely invested in the children’s development. He sets the standard for what early years care should look like, and I cannot praise him highly enough. When my son first started, there was a significant amount of staff turnover, which was very unsettling for both the children and parents. It became so concerning that we seriously considered moving him to another nursery. Looking back, I am incredibly glad we stayed, and that is largely because of Myles. The consistency, reassurance and genuine care he has provided have made all the difference to our family’s experience. I also have to mention the graduation ceremony for the preschool children. It was beautifully organised, incredibly personal and genuinely emotional. The effort that went into celebrating each child individually was obvious, and it was a wonderful way to mark such an important milestone for both the children and their families. That said, there are some areas that I feel need improvement. During warm weather, the nursery rooms become extremely hot and uncomfortable despite portable air conditioning units being in use. At pick-up, the rooms often feel hot and sticky, and it is difficult to see how the current cooling arrangements are adequate. A proper built-in, vented air conditioning system would make a huge difference to both the children and staff. There have also been occasions where parents have had to collect their children early due to issues at the nursery, including the gas leak and, more recently, the excessive temperatures in the rooms. To date, no time in lieu or fee credit has been offered to families despite the disruption. Whilst I appreciate that some incidents are outside the nursery’s control, recognising the impact on working parents would have been appreciated. Overall, Busy Bees has some truly wonderful staff, but for me Myles stands head and shoulders above everyone else. He has been instrumental in helping our son flourish, and I sincerely hope the organisation recognises just how valuable he is. As we prepare to leave in September, we will be genuinely sad to say goodbye. Thank you to everyone who has played a part in our son’s journey, and especially to Myles, for making such a lasting difference to our family.

How do I set up an account for UP?
If you are a Busy Bees parent, just enter the email address you have registered with nursery. This will be the same email that your invoices are sent to. How will I know if my child is settling in?
Starting nursery is an emotional time, for you as well as for your child. After all, it’s a big step! So, we’ll do everything we can to help your child settle in and give you peace of mind.
Before your child starts nursery, you're welcome to come for a settling-in session. During the session, you'll have the chance to watch your child explore nursery and interact with other children and staff. We'll also assign your child a Key Person. Their Key Person is your dedicated contact while your child is at nursery, and they'll keep you updated on their progress each day. If there are any problems at all, they'll let you know. My child's a really fussy eater. Can I send them to nursery with a packed lunch?
For lots of children and for all kinds of reasons, food can be a bit tricky. In fact, that’s exactly why we don’t allow packed lunches or snacks from home at our nurseries; many of the children in our care have allergies, and we just can’t put their safety at risk.
Instead, we provide fresh and tasty breakfasts, lunches, dinners, and snacks at every one of our nurseries. Our menus are healthy, varied, and NHS approved, and we cater for special dietary requirements, cultural food choices, allergies, and fussy eaters, so every child can look forward to tasty food they love to eat.
