- KFK FJul 1, 20221.0Back in 2015, I visited this nursery while looking for a place for my 9-month-old, as I needed childcare to attend college. I had booked an appointment for a nursery tour over the phone. When I arrived on the day, it was raining heavily and I had my baby with me, who was not even one year old. Unfortunately, we were left waiting outside for several minutes before being allowed in, despite staff being aware of our presence. When I eventually entered and mentioned my appointment, I was told there was no record of it. I showed my email confirmation, but was then informed that the manager was unavailable due to an urgent meeting. The interaction felt dismissive and poorly handled. I returned on another day for a tour, which was conducted by a staff member. However, when I asked to speak to the manager regarding availability, I was told there were no spaces. This was confusing, as a separate enquiry later indicated that availability did exist. Overall, I found the experience disappointing and felt that communication and professionalism could have been much better. It was not a welcoming experience, especially as a parent seeking care for a very young child. I hope the nursery has improved since then, but I wanted to share my experience for transparency
