While we are in the process of relocating our Information & Support Centre, unfortunately we are unable to offer drop in sessions. However, please keep in touch with our social media pages or call us for updates on our Centre.
Our experienced team remains available to offer you free, confidential support and information for you, your family and your carers. We will spend time helping you to plan and live well and will go the extra mile to support you living with and beyond cancer.
The support we offer is varied - we can signpost you for benefits and welfare advice, talk to you about local community support services or put you in contact with existing and new support groups. We provide cancer information materials and perhaps most importantly we offer emotional support to you as a person living with cancer or for those who are caring for someone with a cancer diagnosis.
We work alongside Health Professionals to carry out Holistic Needs Assessments to determine what is most important to you and can regularly review your personalised care plan.
We will be continuing to provide and participate in Health & Emotional support Events across the local geography with other healthcare providers. These excellent events support self-management, helping people living with and beyond cancer navigate the many services available locally.
We will also be providing the successful Macmillan, Coventry University HOPE course (Help Overcome Problems Effectively) This 6 week workshop based course helps people manage the day to day impact cancer has had on their lives and supports them in rediscovering their strengths after treatment ends.
We welcome people who would like to volunteer with us to help promote the work of our service locally. For an appointment or a general chat please ring 01695 402164.
