Volunteer Organisation
Bay Volunteers is a community-based service supporting the needs of people and communities across the Lancaster District, especially those who are elderly, vulnerable, isolated and/or housebound. We work with many partners, including UK Gov., Lancaster City Council, Lancaster District Community Hub, Lancaster District CVS, Lancaster, Bay and Carnforth Integrated Care Communities, Lancaster Medical Practice, Queen Square Medical Practice, Bay Medical Group, and many others to bring support to those in our community.
Our volunteers support people through either: shopping for/with someone, collecting and delivering post/parcels, collecting and delivering prescriptions, a listening call/in-person visit/walk, and/or digital support.
