Unfortunately, our experience at this nursery did not meet our expectations. My daughter struggled to settle, and despite raising concerns early on, I did not feel there was enough consistency or follow through to support her properly. It took months to assign a key person, which completely eliminated the purpose of having one in the first place, especially during the settling in stage.
Communication was often unclear, with different staff giving conflicting feedback about how my daughter was doing. This left us confused and concerned. The way management handled our concerns felt unprofessional and did not focus on solutions for the child, which ultimately led us to lose confidence in the nursery.
Since withdrawing her and moving her to another nursery, she is now happy and settling really well, which confirmed to us that leaving was the right decision

My son has been at this nursery for about 8 months, and I can't think of anywhere he would get a better experience. The staff are all friendly and approachable. They clearly care about all of the children and are doing their best to provide an environment where they can feel safe and thrive. The nursery has decent outside space for the children, and they give plenty of opportunity for time in the garden which is something that is important to me. The food is varied and seems balanced. They offer lots of messy activities (which I don't often do at home) and also seem to tailor activities to a theme or based on the children's interests at the time.
I'm so pleased we chose this nursery.

My daughter is now 3 and has been attending the nursery since she was 1 years old. The nursery has good facilities gardens are good, food is good cooked by a chief my daughter eats all offered a majority of the time. My daughter has made many friends and enjoys her time at nursery. The staff in the rooms are very good. However staff communication to parents has declined over the last 10 months or so. The parent zone is not always updated daily as it was at one point. The Facebook page could be put to better use to communicate with parents. Such as about event/ parent evening etc. One one occassion my daughter bumped her head which was missed and this could have been handle more effectively such as calling me to discuss as promised.

Very friendly staff. All 3 of my children have been to this nursery over the last 5.5yrs. Key workers have always helped and been fantastic with my children. Finance staff have always been a great help and got back to me ASAP, always explains everything to me,very approachable. All my kids have always enjoyed the food here aswell ( and one is a fussy eater). Only negative is A few times one of my children has been bitten buy a particular child (not the nursery’s fault if their is a child bitting) and I wasn’t informed of these incidents and delay in investigating however they are usually very quick to inform you of any injury etc (my kids are super clumsy)

Do you offer funded places?
Of course! We know it's not always easy to cover the costs of childcare, so we're pleased to offer a variety of funding options at our nurseries – including 30 hours funded childcare. If you're not sure whether you qualify, speak to your local nursery to work out the right funding option for you. You can find more about childcare funding at Busy Bees in the "Quality Childcare" section of our website.
Do you offer taster sessions?
Yes, we do – we call them settling-in sessions. If you're interested in a settling-in session, start by booking a visit to your local nursery; they can tell you more about how it works.
Do you provide nappies?
Whether or not we provide nappies varies from nursery to nursery. In some, we offer an all-inclusive package that covers nappies for children under 2. In others, we ask parents to provide their own. Talk to your local nursery to check whether you'll need to supply your own nappies.
Do your nurseries have gardens?
Yes, they do! All of our nurseries have wonderful, fully equipped outdoor spaces for your child to explore. We plan every space carefully to extend learning opportunities, inspire creativity and – just as importantly – provide different ways to play. Resources like our mud kitchens, trikes and more are always available for children to use, and we run special activities outdoors too. Find your local nursery to learn more about their facilities.

How will I know if my child is settling in?
Starting nursery is an emotional time, for you as well as for your child. After all, it’s a big step! So, we’ll do everything we can to help your child settle in and give you peace of mind.
Before your child starts nursery, you're welcome to come for a settling-in session. During the session, you'll have the chance to watch your child explore nursery and interact with other children and staff. We'll also assign your child a Key Person. Their Key Person is your dedicated contact while your child is at nursery, and they'll keep you updated on their progress each day. If there are any problems at all, they'll let you know. Speak to your local nursery if you'd like to know more about settling-in sessions.
