I am deeply distressed I scattered my dad’s ashes in April as his wishes was and I wish I had never scattered him now. The flower bed where he was laid to rest is an eyesore and I had been told it was getting planted up in the next 3 weeks of scattering him, me and my mum have been back 4 times now and it’s still in the same disgusting state as the day we scattered him I have complained twice and been fobbed off with the gardener is on holiday to him being sick and now apparently it’s lack of funds they can’t afford to plant the plants. I am truly heartbroken to know I have put my dad in this sharm of a place.

Travelled down from Oxfordshire to lay flowers today and It was closed. Not usual for a weekend but very upset at a wasted and expensive journey.

Both my parents and younger sisters ashes are here, it is a very peaceful place with know sound of the traffic from the road you will only hear the birds sing here. The gardens are well kept staff very helpful.

Unfortunately this crematorium has rather gone downhill over the past few years. My family have been coming here since the 60's to pay respect to my parents. Today once again we experienced a shortage of vases for our flowers (not unusual), many dead flowers left in vases (not unusual) clearly some had been dead for weeks and when we managed to find two vases they had not been cleaned and had slime in the bottom. The ladies toilets were not particularly clean with litter on the floor and the hand drier was not working. The gardens however are well maintained though the paving in certain areas needs attention and could pose a hazard for anyone with walking difficulties which my sister experienced today.
These things have been brought to the attention of the staff some while ago but nothing appears to have changed.
