  We recently visited Basildon and District Cemetery & Crematorium regarding arrangements for our beloved son, and we cannot thank the staff enough for the way they looked after us. From the moment we arrived, everyone was incredibly friendly, compassionate, understanding and professional. They made sure we were okay at every stage, took the time to explain everything clearly and in great detail, and showed us the available plots thoroughly and respectfully. During what has been an extremely difficult and emotional time for our family, their kindness and compassion made a real difference. Their professionalism and compassion were truly at their peak. The crematorium is also in a very peaceful location, with lovely views across the surrounding fields and beyond. There is plenty of parking on site, which is another practical convenience. A heartfelt thank you to the entire team for treating us with such care, dignity and understanding during such a difficult time. We are genuinely grateful.

  I would like to pay tribute to the calmness and serene nature of the chapel. My mother’s recent funeral was nothing but perfect. The whole wall in front was a picture of flowers, and birds flying past with an image of our mother to the side. It was so tastefully done. Modern and clean and it just felt just so right. I could not have chosen a better place for her final goodbye. Thank you to all the hard work of the staff who keep this place looking so perfect.
