  The hotel is not that far from the center and the only traffic that could be found would be the coach buses with groups. We stayed in room 613 for several nights. We got welcome by towl swans and got some treats during our stay. It was pretty silent, even inside the gym (whoch included towels, tissues, a remote control for the TV...). I did work out there. The room had a miniguide of what to visit. It had uneven bedside tables, just to be aware, but it had a tiny closet to hang clothes. The shower was great, it felt like rain, but it splashed way too much, no matter how careful one was. I need to mention that one day I wanted to get some hot water and I accidentally got coffee because the label had been removed, but it got fixed the following day (I attach pics). Also, one gets seated at a table, although one can get another one if mentioning a preference and possible availability, so it is not "I see, I sit".

  This hotel is a gem. The location is ideal near all the interesting sites to visit and most importantly the Tram that takes you to and from the airport so no can fare needed. What stood out for me as a frequent international traveler was the customer service. The manager, Halman, was a gift: a seasoned professional. He was so kind and accommodating and hoisted the experience above and beyond expectations by delivering the kind of care one needs when far away from home. The room was also spotless in every way and fully stocked with amenities and a nice view. Great bed providing comfortable sleep and quiet.

  The customer service stands out at this hotel due to the manager Halman who was attentive, professional and eager to make the experience above and beyond satisfactory. Customer service line this is rarely seen in the hospitality industry. He listened to our concerns for quiet and comfort and assigned us the perfect room and made the experience one we could not forget. The room is confortable and stylish, very clean and chic with lovely bathroom and adequate water pressure and amenities. The location is also ideal near Haymarket and a short walk from the tram to te airport. Will return!!!

  A Beautiful Hotel in a Fantastic Edinburgh Location We had a wonderful stay at voco Edinburgh. The location is absolutely fantastic — right in the heart of the city, with many of Edinburgh’s main attractions within easy walking distance. Being able to step outside the hotel and explore this beautiful city on foot was a real pleasure. The hotel itself is impressive. Its elegant architecture, stylish design and luxurious atmosphere give it a very special character. Our room was comfortable and beautifully presented, and the overall quality of the hotel made our stay even more enjoyable. We also really enjoyed the hotel’s restaurant. The atmosphere was lovely, and the staff deserve a special mention. Everyone we met was kind, polite and genuinely helpful, which made us feel very welcome throughout our stay. Excellent location, beautiful architecture, comfort and wonderful hospitality all came together to make this one of the highlights of our trip. I would definitely stay here again when I return to Edinburgh and would highly recommend it.
