Hartland & Son Margaret Jeavons passed on 23/3/26- Funeral date 14/4/26 I would just like to say how much my family and I appreciate each and every one of you at J. Hartland & Son (based on Clifton Street, Coseley, West Midlands). We live in Christchurch near Bournemouth and we brought my mom down to us to be cared for in her final weeks. When she passed we contacted J. Hartland & Son as they had always been our family funeral directors. We spoke to the lovely Rachel and she had the job of navigating the transfer of mom from Christchurch back home. This included finding directors by us for mom to rest whilst arrangements were being made for mom’s journey back up to the Midlands in the safe care of J. Hartland & Son. This could have been a potentially distressing experience but we were dealt with, with so much care and compassion, I cannot tell you how much this meant to us as a family. My mom was and still is extremely precious to us and we are heartbroken but on the day of the funeral, Lauren arrived at the house with her colleagues and escorted me down the drive, arm in arm and I immediately knew the day would go well and we were all in safe hands. Every single detail from start to finish was thought about and executed to an incredible high standard. You have been our family funeral directors, caring for many generations of our family on both sides of my parents. Even though I am an only child I am part of a large family.
