  Since becoming a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, I have found a welcoming, loving, and Christ-centered community. The teachings are focused on Jesus Christ and His gospel, and everyone is encouraged to grow in faith, serve others, and strengthen their relationship with God. The congregation is warm and family-oriented, and I have experienced genuine kindness, support, and friendship. I especially appreciate how members come together in prayer, service, and encouragement during times of need. If you are looking for a church where you can worship Jesus Christ, learn from the scriptures, and be part of a caring community, I highly recommend visiting. You will be warmly welcomed and have the opportunity to experience the love of Christ through His followers.

  My family and I were first welcomed here 23 years ago, and this has been a place of many happy, uplifting experiences, as well as a place of comfort in sad or difficult times. It is a place we can learn more about Jesus Christ and feel close to Him.

  Since I was a child my parents took me to church. At the Church of Jesus Christ Church. I remember when my dad found the land to build the chapel on. He was assigned to find it and he did. so it’s very special to me. But it wasn’t just the building that was special to me , it was the feeling I felt each week as I was surrounded by people who loved God ! A hospital for sinners I call it. As a child I just loved being there and if I ever went in and mood in the morning , by the end of day being at church always made me feel happier. This is also what I wanted for my own children. I wanted them to have what I had an experienced as a child. So my husband and I attend church every week , work permitting. We also try and contribute our time in helping support our members. To this day when I attend Church and walk into that building it feels like home, a place of refuge , a place of learning, a place where I renew the promises I made to God when I got baptised. It’s also a place of service , peace and understanding . It’s where we share our time and our talents with each other to lift and help each other. It’s also where we have fun, laugh and cry. An extension of home if you like. Each member of the Church Christ of Latter Day saints are all unique . We have all had different paths and different challenges. We do not believe because we believe in God that our lives will be Rosy and free from trail and tribulation. We don’t believe that we our better than anyone else because we believe in God and Jesus Christ. But what we do believes is that God loves all his Children . That every human on earth chose to be here. That God loves everyone equally and is concerned about each of his children. And what Jesus Christ gives me through my trails is support and strength beyond my own. He gives me peace that only God himself can give. He is merciful and full of Grace. He gives me guidance through the scriptures and gives me access to the Priesthood and it’s power. When I am sick I can have blessings to give me guidance and understanding. Life is hard but with Christ it’s is brighter and full of hope when all feel like hope seems gone. He lifts me up in prayer and gives me the tools I need to go to work and do all that I need to do in my daily life. I wish for all men everywhere to have the love of Christ . I know that I have found the truth in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I invite all to come unto him . As we congregate each Sunday I find strength gathering in his Church and being nourished by the goodness and light of Christ . I am reminded each week to improve and do better. I am encouraged to look beyond myself and have eyes to see the needs of others. It is food to my soul that I personally need. In the name of Jesus Christ Amen .

  We had the opportunity to visit the Crew Ward in England in April 2022 while visiting our friends, Christian and Emily Lucas. From the moment my wife and I walked into sacrament meeting, we felt genuinely welcomed. Several members came over to introduce themselves, asking where we were from and taking a sincere interest in getting to know us. Of course, hearing those warm greetings with their wonderful British accents made the experience even more memorable. As the meeting progressed, we could sense the unique bond and unity among the members. There was a spirit of love, fellowship, and faith that was both uplifting and comforting. Although we were far from home, it felt familiar—as though we were worshipping with lifelong friends. After sacrament meeting, I attended Elders Quorum while my wife attended Relief Society. One thing that stood out to me was how open and engaging the discussions were. Rather than feeling formal or scripted, everyone was encouraged to participate, share experiences, and learn from one another. It was refreshing to see genuine interest in the thoughts and perspectives of the members. Our visit to the Crew Ward was a wonderful experience. The members were kind, friendly, and welcoming—the very qualities you hope to find when visiting a ward away from home. We left feeling spiritually uplifted and grateful for the opportunity to worship with such faithful and caring Saints.
