A visiting pastor came in dressed in a Louis Vuitton suit, diamond watch, bracelet, and high-end designer shoes, then had the audacity to request $20,000 from the congregation for the pastor and his wife’s church anniversary. He was asking members to give $1,000, $500, $100 even bragging about how his own members had given him $60k. This is pure hypocrisy. How do you walk in flashing luxury brands and jewelry, yet turn around and pressure hardworking people in this economy to give thousands? If you truly need $20k, maybe start by selling that Louis Vuitton suit, diamond watch, bracelet, and shoes. This is exactly why so many people stop going to church because pastors use the pulpit to pimp the members and fund a lavish lifestyle under the name of God. What happened today was shameful, and I can say with confidence God would not approve of this foolishness. This will be my last visit to this church.
