  I had a terrible experience with Laurel Grove. I was told by Michael Smith that my Mother qualified for VA Benefits, which was crucial to her being able to afford rent. He assured me that he worked closely with the VA and the benefits would be available. I was pressured into paying the deposit because we could lose her apartment if we didn't act quickly. Vicki Nash charged my card for the deposit and half of the first months rent. Within days of paying $3650, I found out that the VA benefits would not be available and there was no way my Mother could afford it, so I requested a refund. I was then told it was nonrefundable because they could have rented to someone else. If I knew she could not get the VA benefits, I never would have put a deposit down. I was forced into paying almost $4,000 because of false information and greed in a time where many people are extremely vulnerable and susceptible to being taken advantage of like this.

  10 Stars! The community, staff, and residents all wear smiles. The residents are very warm and welcoming. From the time you pull up to the property, upon entrance, and every area off the entire community is beyong impressive. Michael Williams is one of a kind. He listens to understand, he's compassionate, and its evident he loves serving people. Every single person my mom and I made contact with felt like family. I feel good about choosing Laurel Grove for my mom.

  I've been coming here to visit a client. The place is set in a quiet location. It's clean and beautiful. The staff are friendly and helpful. If I had an elderly family member that needed a place to live, I would highly recommend this place.

  I would give them a 5++++ stars!! This was a GRAND SLAM on our tour of facilities of Independent Living for my mother in law. Michael Williams was a wonderful "tour guide". The staff that we met from the GM (Vicky), Chef Bryan, the receptionist (Denise), AD (Tanya), Housekeeping (Sherry and her Co- worker) were friendly and welcoming. The accommodations and the amenities were in her price range and all inclusive. So many wonderful amenities that were included in the monthly rent are mind- blowing. This is THE ONE! A Place For Mom service led us to their door, and Michael, Monica, and the staff made my mother in law want to stay!!! Thank you so much!!!
