  Wally Messer at Green Pine Funeral Home was exceptional in every way. He handled every cremation-related detail for both of my parents, who passed away very close together, and he did it with steady professionalism, compassion, and total reliability. Because both of my parents were veterans, there were additional steps and coordination involved with Jacksonville Veterans Cemetery and Military Honors. Wally managed everything seamlessly, without me having to chase paperwork or worry about what came next. I am an only child, so the entire burden was on me. What meant the most is that Wally didn’t simply “process arrangements.” He showed up. He attended both funerals and both burials, making sure each service was carried out with dignity and respect. That presence matters when you’re exhausted and grieving, and it made me feel supported, not managed. Afterward, Wally also delivered the participant signature books and thank-you cards, which sounds like a small thing until you’re living through it. Those details were handled thoughtfully and promptly, and it removed another layer of detail during a difficult time. The entire experience could not have been easier or more comforting. Wally Messer is the kind of funeral director you hope you never need, but are deeply grateful to have when you do. I recommend he and Green Pine Funeral Home without hesitation.

  What kind of person (s) padlocks a cemetery during normal visiting hours and keeps people from visiting loved ones? Think twice about burying your family there. Read the reviews on their website. They are disgusting people!
