My child has been attending Bright Horizons at Windermere since she was 9 months old and now shes 2! I can't say enough good things about the center. Everyday my child wakes up happy to go to school and see all of her friends and teachers. The center is clean, well organized and innovative. I love that my child gets to enjoy different areas in the center. We are welcomed every morning with a hello and a smile. I highly recommend Bright Horizons at Windermere!

From the very first time we walked in, my son acted like he knew this place and the teachers all along. He adores Ms Idaliz, Ms Paola and Ms Jainice! Whenever he sees Ms Jaime and Ms Jenelle, he throws himself in their arms in a heartbeat. While he just turned 1 and can’t talk much yet, his affection towards the Bright Horizons team speaks volumes, and we’re so happy to be part of this fantastic family!

The level of skill and patience used to overcome a child who has separation anxiety is a so heart warming to know how much they care about my child. Such a gentle approach to teaching and making learning fun certainly not a boot camp . A place we’re children are valued for being unique and using their own creativity. I’d recommend them with my eyes closed .

My daughter has gone to this school for almost two years, and she has loved every single day! She’s even sad and cries when she is sick and has to stay home. She recognizes almost every single letter of the alphabet, which without the loving and nurturing teachers at BH she wouldn’t be doing so great! She especially loves getting hugs from all the staff, and greeting them every morning! Ms. Jamie or “Big Jamie” as we all call her in my house, is a celebrity in our house as well! Little J and I love and appreciate everything BH has done for her development!

I WOULD NOT recommend this school IF... ...if you want supports and encouragements from school. I recognize my kid is very active, not following teacher's instructions perfectly and he may push his friends sometimes but this is typical 3y.o. What this school does is to make you sign "occurrence report" and call you to pick up your kid when he makes mistakes. I got a phone call from a teacher saying, "you have to pick up (my son) if he behave again!" I expect school to lead and guide children when they make mistakes, not to kick out and make parents sign a paper. ...if you a Muslim. If you're one of Muslim haters, maybe this place is a perfect place for you. If YOU ARE A MUSLIM, I DO NOT RECOMMEND this place. I had a conversation with my kid's teacher like this; Teacher: "I noticed D(my son) plays a toy like a gun." Me: "Yes, I noticed that. He does recently." Teacher: ".....(Silence)." Me: "(I was joking..) I hope you're not thinking that we're teaching him some kind of Islamic terrorist things, lol." Teacher: "I don't know. Other teacher also noticed. This is serious." I don't know what is serious about this. I was trying to explain that nobody encouraged my son about a gun though this happened but the teacher didn't let me explain or listen to me and just kept saying, "I don't know. This is serious." And this is 3y.o. just playing. My husband discussed about this with the center director and he got upset. Then she was telling him she would call a police. Looks like you can be a big "threat" for them if you're Muslim. ...if you're NOT OK with a teacher eats potato chips in front of kids. One day, I came to this school little later than 9am to drop my 3y.o. I hid myself behind the classroom door cuz I wanted to see how my kid acts in the classroom. What I saw was a teacher took potato chips from a shelf and ate in front of all children. *Since Ms Nicola has commented on my review (and she's saying something that she wouldn't mention if Bright Horizons didn't talk to her about us), let me explain more nicely. What I wanna say is that teachers should eat when kids also eat snack/lunch or any other appropriate time. If you consider yourself a professional and grown adult, you should control your appetite and should manage to eat before kids arrive. This is only 3 months experience with this school but I was so discouraged and depressed to meet the teachers everyday. And we decided to leave this school. *Yes, the building and classroom is always clean, secured, and everybody greets kids by name which other daycare schools do too. I would not recommend this place "IF" you are not ok with what I experienced. If you are ok, then don't be bothered :)
