Make note this location is the goodwill donation drop off CONTAINER in the parking lot. It's a convenient drop location for nearby residents to give some items another shot at use elsewhere when the dreaded task of organizing comes up

Gently used clothing and household goods may be dropped off at any of our store and/or attended donation centers. We ask that large furniture be dropped off at one of our retail locations. Simply drive through any of our attendent donation center drive-thrus and a team member will assist you with your items.

Do you have a furniture pickup service?
Goodwill Manasota does not offer a furniture or single item pickup service. We do have a White Glove Service, which is a FREE packing service for an entire home. If you are downsizing, buying/selling a home, or find yourself in another transitional stage of life, Goodwill can help lessen your burden. We will come to your home or business, pack up your entire household of resellable items that you would like to donate, and transport them to our Goodwill donation centers and retail outlets. There is never a charge for the White Glove Service and we provide an itemized receipt for tax purposes.

Who is your CEO?
Like other nonprofits, Goodwill Manasota is led by respected business leaders and a volunteer board of directors which provides guidance and oversight. Goodwill isn't "owned" by anyone. As our President and CEO, Bob Rosinsky is responsible and accountable for the effectiveness of the organization. Mr. Rosinsky has been with the Goodwill movement for almost 50 years. He oversees 700+ employees, more than 40 locations, and is accountable for ensuring that one of areas largest nonprofits is able to fulfill its mission now and in the future.

We do NOT accept: air conditioners, ammunition, appliances (white goods), ashes (human remains), automobile batteries, bullets, chemicals, carpet remnants, console stereos, large copiers, damaged furniture or items, dishwashers, wood or glass doors, dryers, electric beds, flammable items, gas containers, gasoline, unframed glass, guns, hospital beds, infant car seats, lawn mowers, mattresses or box springs, mechanical beds, metal desks over four feet wide or deep, unframed mirrors, oil, organs, paint, pesticides, pianos, ping-pong tables, living plants, pool tables, propane cylinders, refrigerators, sinks, syringes, console or oversized televisions, tires, toilets, weapons, waterbeds and accessories, or windows.
What happens to my donations?
Your donations are sorted and priced by hand. They are sold in our stores to fund our mission services, or if unsold, are recycled or sold through salvage partners. We strive to ensure every item gets a second life.
Why donate to Goodwill instead of throwing items away?
When you donate, you do more than declutter, you create opportunity. You help fuel job training and give your items a second life, supporting both our community and a more sustainable planet.
How is Goodwill funded?
Goodwill is a nonprofit. We are primarily funded through sales from generously donated items. This sustainable model allows us to reinvest an average of nearly 90 cents of every dollar back into our mission of Changing Lives Through the Power of Work.
