  I’m so glad we have Mom in Memory Care at The Blake. We moved Mom her from another facility we thought was good but this is better, and it was cheaper! A quality MC facility is not inexpensive, but you get what you pay for. The cleanliness standard is top notch and the place is beautiful and bright. The courtyard is really a benefit that the residents enjoy. Most importantly the caregivers are kind, compassionate, and patient. They know residents names, preferences and quirks too. I am grateful every day that mom is safe and well taken care of at The Blake. I highly recommend, and mom’s hospice nurse also says this is the best in the area. The staff here are wonderful!

  I have spent considerable time at The Blake at St. Johns since my mother moved into the assisted care side 10 months ago. This is my mother's 3rd senior living home and the best by far. Brandon, the Director, has assembled a staff of caring people who become like family to your loved one. From the dining staff to medical technicians, nurses, activities, concierge and cleaners, the staff are quality professionals who care about what they do and those they serve. The residents are great also. It's an upbeat place and one where the residents' voices are heard and considered, whether it is a criticism or a request for a new activity or club. They have fun holiday parties and entertainment for the whole family. We've had a great time with Mom at The Blake and it has trickled down from the exemplary leadership of their Director, Brandon Luke. I hope he stays a long time. Thank you to all the staff who work so hard to improve our loved one's lives.
