  Loved the community! Great location, lovely apartments and very friendly residents. When my mom is ready to move Grand Villa will be on the very top of our list!

  My friend in NYC asked me to check out the best Assisted Living Facility in downtown Sarasota, and Grand Villa gets 5 stars on every count: quality of accommodations, cordiality and availability of staff, excellence of maintenance, deliciousness of the meal I enjoyed there, variety of activities, impeccable cleanliness, comfortable layout and sunlight everywhere, 24-hour nursing presence. Not least, I was awed by the kindness and professionalism of Ms. Shannon van der Kooy and Ms Tammy Schieb. Shannon’s patience, smarts, her willingness to show and explain, and explain again, and Tammy’s executive understanding of how everything works and fits smoothly together, were what absolutely sold me. My friend and I are deeply grateful and his mother will be moving there shortly.

  Grand villa is truly grand living. Every time I’ve gone to visit my friend, I’ve been impressed by the warmth and friendliness of fellow residents. The staff there are friendly and professional, and the feel of the whole community is pleasant.

  I recently toured Grand Villa of Sarasota and was truly impressed. The community is beautiful, welcoming, and very well maintained, with a friendly and attentive team. I especially loved seeing the caregivers actively engaged with residents in Memory Care. It was a huge plus to meet the Memory Care Director and see her engaged with the team and her residents. The Executive Director has been there for many years and was very attentive and friendly, which speaks volumes about the leadership and stability of the community. The outdoor lanai overlooking the bayou is peaceful and inviting. Tammy and Shannon, the Sales Directors, were knowledgeable, kind, and eager to provide helpful resources. I highly recommend Grand Villa of Sarasota! It’s a wonderful community all around!
