During such a difficult time, it is nice to know that there are still some decent folks out there that are not trying to take advantage of the family in their time of grieving. I am sure I speak for a lot of folks when I say situations like this can sometimes feel like you’re being sold a used car with all the gadgets and gizmos and upsell pieces, but the team we had at KFL were anything but that. Shannon, Scott, Kelsey, Shaina, and Brian (and Gracie) are such a great team and were so kind and considerate when helping us through this time. We couldn’t have asked for better folks. I would recommend this exact team to anyone needing help during a time like this. A very special thanks to Shannon and Scott who were not only helpful, but kind and understanding of our needs and were there for us every step of the way from the very beginning. We never felt like we didn’t matter. These are the type of people you want helping you when your mind may be elsewhere and you’re not sure what next steps are.

Kent Forest Lawn Funeral Home took such good care of my mom and the family as we prepared for her services. They stayed in touch through every step of the process and followed up afterwards to see how we are doing. I hope to not need any services again for years but if I do, I will reach out to KFLFH for my needs.

My husband and I lost our baby, and had to have a D&C yesterday. I called around to different funeral homes but they were not able to assist us. Scott with Kent Forest was amazing, no parent should have to make these calls but he took so much weight off of my shoulders and made me feel like my baby is going to ge in great hands. I dont even have words that can show just how much I appriciate all he is doing for us. Wonderful experience in this awful stage of our lives. Again thank you for taking care of our little one.

Our family would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the team at Kent Forest Lawn Funeral Home for the compassion and professionalism they showed during such a difficult time. From the moment we arrived, we were treated with kindness, respect, and genuine care. A very special thank you goes to Scott Shank, our funeral director, who truly went above and beyond to support our family. Scott was incredibly patient, attentive, and understanding throughout the entire process. He took the time to guide us through every step, answered all of our questions, and made sure every detail was handled with care and dignity. During a time that can feel overwhelming, Scott helped make the process smooth and comforting for our family. We are deeply grateful for the level of service, compassion, and professionalism shown to us. Kent Forest Lawn Funeral Home and Scott Shank made a difficult time much easier for our family, and we will always appreciate the care they provided.
