Our family would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the team at Kent Forest Lawn Funeral Home for the compassion and professionalism they showed during such a difficult time. From the moment we arrived, we were treated with kindness, respect, and genuine care. A very special thank you goes to Scott Shank, our funeral director, who truly went above and beyond to support our family. Scott was incredibly patient, attentive, and understanding throughout the entire process. He took the time to guide us through every step, answered all of our questions, and made sure every detail was handled with care and dignity. During a time that can feel overwhelming, Scott helped make the process smooth and comforting for our family. We are deeply grateful for the level of service, compassion, and professionalism shown to us. Kent Forest Lawn Funeral Home and Scott Shank made a difficult time much easier for our family, and we will always appreciate the care they provided.

Michael Gladden is the best. He explained everything very well and answered all our questions. Sounds odd but when I go I told my family Kent Forest is where I wanted to be taken. I have 100% confidence in them

Michael Gladden was truly a God sent! He made the whole process very easy and he was so gentle with my broken heart explaining everything to me. We were blessed to have had him in charge of our grandma’s final wishes. I highly recommend Kent Forest Lawn.

During a very difficult time, Kent Forest offered me information, guidance, and comfort. Michael Gladden was exceptional from our first meeting until everything was finalized. He was there for me with expertise through all of the paperwork and directing the final service. Michael’s care and compassion is evident as he performed his duties. I am very pleased with Kent Forest Lawn and the service they provided.

My father passed away last week after a long illness. We had no idea what funeral home to use but had driven past Kent Forest Lawn a number of times so we figured they would be ok. It was a very stressful time for everyone but they came quickly to retrieve him. The two men that came were so kind, they answered all our questions and were very patient with us. The next day we went to the funeral home to meet with John Webb, who was our funeral director. He made everything so easy, he never tried to push anything on us. He listened to us and was so kind. He arranged for a full Marine Corps honor guard for my dad. He dealt with the VA for all the details and took so much stress away from us. He also dealt with all the tiny details we had never thought of. We even were able to arrange a spot in the new part they were building for veterans. The day of, the chapel was so beautiful. He checked on us throughout and made sure everyone knew when to stand and when to go outside. He arranged for the honor guard to be filmed so we could stay in the he moment and watch it without worrying about pictures for later. He has taken care of everything. The best part was when he offered my mom his arm to walk outside to see the honor guard. It was such a kind and gentlemanly act that really just meant the world to us. I cannot thank him enough for his kindness and his arranging such a beautiful ceremony. I would recommend him and Kent Forest Lawn to anyone
