  I’ve lived at Houston Street Manor since10/24. I absolutely never write reviews but I’m truly impressed by Caressa’s efforts to get us involved in activities especially during the holidays. She’s attentive and helpful at all times. I also want to acknowledge Danny for his timeliness with maintenance request. The staff is very pleasant and respectful. Thank you.

  Houston street manor is beautiful inside but is declining because residents are not taking care of it at the rate it is going it will soon become another project. Corporate and management are untrustworthy My two children were taught the process of going to the front door calling the tenant and let them push 9 so they can enter. I have seizures they are random they needed to have fobs to let themselves in any time of day or night. They purchased two fobs at fifty dollars apiece there was no mention at the time of them not being refundable they went to turn in the fobs and were told the money for the fobs was not refundable. I guess that means they own them because they had to be re keyed yet anyone else does not have to pay when they leave My kids were punished for doing the right thing. There has been vandalism because of lack of security. Their is no security provided although you are told they do have a car checking every so often. There are homeless people sleeping on benches or inside the garage and we were told to have compassion for them. I am a kind giving person but also cautious these homeless people could also have a knife or gun. There are no accommodations for dogs. Walking them is difficult because you have one strip of grass you can take them on and it is across the street. There have been knocks at womens doors asking if he could pleasure them. Does that make you feel safe his identity is known but maybe you need to ask the property manager because she knows his identity..l could go on and on. I am so glad I can share my experiences now without fear of retaliation. If you wrote anything bad while residing there you would be told to vacate isn’t that called retaliation. There was also the issue of bedbugs that was denied but l found a couple and saved them for proof. Everything here is about money that is the bottom Oh and by the way rent was raised. Bring up their ad for Houston street manor and it states rent there is seven hundred dollars but there rent now for a one bedroom starts at 742. a big increase get the ad and hold them to the advertised price. Besure that every year there will be a rent increase and this is affordable for seniors. It’s all about MONEY!,!!!
