I cannot say enough wonderful things about The Peninsula Assisted Living and Memory Care in Hollywood, Florida. From the moment our family began this journey, the level of care, compassion, and professionalism has been truly exceptional.
A very special thank you to Johnathan, the Sales Director, whose guidance, patience, and genuine kindness made what could have been an overwhelming process feel smooth and reassuring. He went above and beyond to ensure we felt confident and supported every step of the way.
Alexa, the Director of Nursing, is simply outstanding. Her dedication to the residents, attention to detail, and commitment to providing high-quality medical care give our family tremendous peace of mind. It is clear that she leads with both expertise and heart.
Sandy, the Director of Food and Beverage, has created an environment where meals are not only nutritious but also enjoyable. The care and thought put into dining truly enhance the residents’ daily experience.
Most importantly, I want to recognize the incredible nurses and caregivers on my mother’s floor. They are compassionate, attentive, and treat her with dignity, warmth, and respect every single day. Their kindness does not go unnoticed, and it means the world to our family.
Knowing that my mother is in such capable and caring hands has been an immense comfort. The Peninsula is more than just a facility—it is a community filled with people who genuinely care.
I wholeheartedly recommend The Peninsula to any family seeking a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment for their loved one.

My mother currently resides in Memory Care at The Peninsula, and overall I am very grateful for the care she receives. Caring for individuals with dementia is not an easy task, and I truly appreciate the dedication of the HHA’s, CNA’s, Med Techs, and the few nurses who work tirelessly to support the residents every day.
I would like to especially recognize Nurse Robin, who was attentive and knowledgeable enough to recognize that a medication prescribed for my mother was not the right fit for her and was causing severe side effects. Her awareness and quick action made a significant difference, and I am very thankful for her care and professionalism.
The staff in Memory Care are compassionate and work incredibly hard to care for residents whose cognitive health is declining. However, it is very concerning to see only three or four HHA’s/CNA’s caring for approximately 40 residents on the Memory Care floor. These caregivers do their absolute best, but that level of staffing makes an already demanding job even more difficult.
What The Peninsula should recognize is that the heart of any organization—especially one caring for vulnerable individuals—is its staff. These caregivers are the ones providing daily comfort, dignity, and safety to the residents. Considering what families pay on a monthly basis for their loved ones to live there, it seems reasonable that more of those resources should go toward increasing staff pay and improving staffing levels.
Retaining dedicated caregivers who genuinely care for the residents is critical. Losing good staff and trying to replace them is not easy, especially when they are the ones who build relationships with the residents and treat them with compassion and respect.
Despite these concerns, I remain very appreciative of the team members who show compassion and commitment to the residents each day. Their efforts truly make a difference for families like mine.
My mother Lillian, is in the Memory care unit at Penninsula and it is an outstanding unit. Robin is a terrific Nurse and takes terrific care of my mom. Nicholette also is outstanding and truly goes out of her way to make my mother comfortable. Robin make sure that everything is done to perfection ! The food is excellent and my mom enjoys eating and all the activities are amazing. I highly recommend the Peninsula assisted living in Memory care facility in Hollywood Florida to anyone’s loved one you are considering placing in a Memory care facility.

I've had a great introduction from Peninsula at the very beginning. It can be very overwhelming to decide where to relocate a loved one. Jonathan has been the best. He has been very patient and kind with the time frame I needed to make a decision. He has given me great information and insights about this entire process that I am new to. I feel confident that my loved one will be safe and taken great care of.
