  Darby Farms is stunning, and we’re so glad we chose it for its charm and beauty. Amanda’s attention to detail is unmatched — she communicates so well, answers every question, and makes everything clear and easy. On our wedding day, the venue manager worked behind the scenes to keep everything running smoothly and helped wherever needed without us even asking. Our day wouldn’t have been this perfect without them!

  The venue is very beautiful, but the lack of professionalism and poor communication made our wedding day far more stressful than it should have been. Our wedding took place on 12/13/25. We never received an explanation for why our $1,000 security deposit was not refunded. The cleaning crew arrived while we were still packing up and immediately made repeated comments that a small floor stain would cause us to lose the entire deposit. Family members offered to clean it, as the stain was coming up easily, but were not allowed. These comments should have come from management, not the cleaning crew. The crew also rushed and spoke rudely to me, the bride. When tensions rose, the venue manager did not step in to manage the situation professionally. Instead, she ran to the kitchen crying and told guests she had just started her period, which was inappropriate and unprofessional in front of wedding guests. I was also not given the opportunity to sort my personal decorations from venue items as expected. My belongings were put away without my consent, and I had to retrieve them before leaving. The required bartending service was another issue. We were told the cost would be around $420 if we provided the alcohol, but the final cost was significantly higher, and the pricing was misleading. The bartenders provided no supplies and stated someone else would need to pour champagne. After the wedding, we were contacted requesting additional tip money, with the explanation that guests were intoxicated—despite the drinks being served very strong by the bartenders themselves. This felt inappropriate and unprofessional. While the space itself is lovely, the unclear communication, misleading pricing, and unprofessional staff overshadowed what should have been a joyful day. We strongly recommend future couples get everything in writing and clarify all costs in advance.

  I was there to a shoot a styled wedding. The venue is VERY nice - many farm barn styled weddings are not the best looking claiming it to be a rustic style but not the Derby farms - every area of the venue is taken care off , lots of nice spots to take photos including water spots, flowers , a vintage truck and even a swing ! The ceremony has a dedicated spot with enough room for a large bridal party if needed. The atmosphere is very calm. No bugs ! This is the rustic venue the way it should be ! I am sure all brides getting married there will remember this farm as a nice beautiful place with lots of beautiful photos.
