A family member has been at Harmony at Kent since it opened about four years ago. The administration, oversight and care has been consistently poor and has not gotten any better. I would discourage anyone from signing a lease before asking questions about what is being done to insure safe staffing, nutritious meals and adequate security. Staff turnover has been consistently high from junior to senior levels and no one at corporate seems concerned. Medications have been mis-administered and residents have been known to ‘pound on the tables’ in the dining hall due to poor food and no service. Again, corporate does not seem concerned. They’ve been given enough time to show improvements, but it hasn’t happened.

My mother has been an independent resident here since 2022. Food is terrible and high turnover among staff. In February a pipe burst and many residents are still not back in their apartments and are being charged full price. Staff is unresponsive. Date to return to apartment keeps getting extended. First 6 weeks now 12 weeks. Stay away!

Room for improvements, nursing staff response time, or lack of, for residence needs (apathetic attitude)) Three(3) examples: attendant abandoning the wheelchaired resident on his way to the dining area outside the elevator, agitated mood while cleaning up the mess in the bathroom, walking out in the middle of discussion, Additionally, long waiting to ordr during meal hours.

Just moved our mother into Harmony at Kent and they made it very easy. The transition was seamless and very professional. Kate, LaToya, Jamyra and many others were very attentive to our needs and answered all of our questions.
