  I absolutely love this place! My 2-year-old son goes here every day and is learning so much through their wonderful Montessori-style activities. He’s always excited to tell me about what he learned and the fun projects they do. The environment encourages independence, creativity, and kindness, and I can already see how much confidence he’s gaining. He has also made some great friends here, and it makes me so happy to see how well he interacts and plays with other children. The teachers, especially Mrs. Yukimi, and the director, Julianna, are amazing — always available to answer any questions and genuinely care about each child. This is the first daycare I’ve truly loved. I feel completely comfortable leaving my son here, knowing he’s in capable, caring hands every single day.

  My daughter has been going to BrightPath since last year, and she absolutely loves it. The care and support she’s gotten from her teachers has been amazing. Miss Lauren is the best-so loving, supportive, and caring. We couldn’t ask for more. A big thank you to Miss Lauren and the whole BrightPath team for giving us peace of mind, knowing our daughter is happy, safe, and loved.

  When our son was of age to begin looking for preschools, my partner and I toured multiple facilities in numerous areas of CT. We originally walked through the Cheshire Brightpath center, and were super intrigued by what was offered. After viewing the Newtown center, our expectations were exceeded. The center itself is incredibly welcoming and appealing to the eye; everything is well maintained and the energy that is withheld in the building is immaculate. The ladies at the front desk never fail to greet families for pick up and drop off, including the use of everyone’s name! The classrooms offer SO much for learning and growing children. The kids have ample time to go outside whenever the weather is cooperative. You’ll notice that when you walk by the classrooms in the halls, all of the children look so excited to be there! In addition, the app provided to give parents updates throughout the day is a gamechanger; I always know what my little guy is up to! Specifically, I’d like to mention Ms. Nicole and Ms. Ashley, two of the teachers in the toddler classroom. Brightpath was my child’s first experience in any type of daycare/preschool setting, and these ladies made his transition absolutely seamless. He adjusted quickly, has made many friends, continues to learn new skills and is prevailing in diverse areas of his life. A major shoutout to them; thank you for taking such good care of our son and introducing him to nothing but positivity in regards to going to school. Thank you SO much to the Brightpath educators and staff who continue to tie the knot in our daily lives, in turn making each week a success for us!!!

  I was apprehensive about posting this review, but I feel like parents should know what’s been going on. With the recent turnover of staff and new management every other month it feels... we realized it was in our best interest to switch.Staff were very unwelcoming, and the air felt a bit heavy. I’ve seen and heard staff become passive aggressive with the little ones, and made many complaints about it to the director at the time and DCF…My daughter was not happy going to that place, she would cry at drop off for two weeks straight until she got to know them.. today is day two of her new day care, & she hasn’t cried since dropping her off.. and also waved us goodbye…That spoke volume to me as I was nervous about her new transition. Also for the cost- It’s about 1900$ a month for full time care. For the amount of money they receive from each families, you would think the meals are 100% organic, your child would come back with clean/ dry clothes and non-soiled diapers… I would not recommend this child care.

  The teachers are hard working and love their children. Unfortunately, the administration are only concerned about money. The do not properly clean the facility. They have a cleaning service that only comes 3 times per week. The Zono machine is not used daily. The teachers are underpaid and not treated well by the company. The company itself is out of touch with what is happening at the center level and is only concerned about money and good reviews. The staff are not happy there. Many would leave but are unable to as they need the money. The 3 year old program is out of control. They want to put 25-30 three year olds in one classroom and expect them to be able to learn if they are separated in the same room into 2 or three groups. This company does not care about children.
