Cambridge Manor offers educational seminars to the public. The speakers have been knowledgeable and the subjects relevant to me as a senior. The facility is always immaculate and the staff friendly. They even provide delicious goodies!! Julene von Glinsky

My wife passed 5 weeks ago. Cambridge owes me a refund for the balance for private care hospice, a significant amount I was required to provide in advance. 10 days ago I was told by the administrator that refund check (and a receipt) would be mailed. It hasn’t arrived to my address just across town. It’s disappointing that the onsite level of care is NOT reflected at the administrative level as well. My perfect wife was at Cambridge for 5 weeks trying to recover from lung cancer and complications from treatment. The staff were wonderful: APRNs, nurses, aides, OT, speech, PT, nutrition, admin and eventually hospice services (Constellation). The aides (esp Nancy) didn’t have to check on her as often as they did, or comb her hair in a special way. The nurses (esp Marilyn) didn’t have to learn our family’s names or make sure we knew they were on the case. The APRNs worked her case focusing on wellness and comfort. Nutrition managed her dietary needs nearly on the fly, making sure she had the right stuff the right way. We could tell the staff liked each other. They worked together. The hospice care my wife received was thoughtful and compassionate, but direct. The nurse saw her every day and sat with us so we felt informed. My family feels my wife was in the right place getting the right care.
