Doesn't deserve one star. When my family and I first moved here, we met people from the congregation and everyone seemed nice. As time went on, we learned that not everyone is nice. Some people showed their true colors and were snobbish, looked down on me and my family, were nasty, and made us feel unwelcome. There were times when we needed help with moving heavy things and the missionaries provided necessary help. We thanked them with food and went on our separate ways. As time went on, the missionaries would show up both unannounced and announced wanting to share a "message" to try to get me and my mom to come back to church and convert my stepdad. We tried to be respectful and say we're comfortable with our beliefs and where we are spiritually. From the repeated and unwanted texts and unannounced "visits", the missionaries interpreted that to mean keep harassing this family. It got to a point to where we had to send a cease and desist order to the stake president to prevent contact from missionaries in 2025. That seemed to get the message through until recent weeks when the missionaries texted asking to share a "message". We again tried to be nice and say no. They asked if we were sure and we had to be more blunt and harsh. Within a couple weeks of that (early February 2026), they sent another text. Finally fed up with being nice, we had to be nasty and tell the missionaries off. Nobody should have to be nasty to get a point across that we do not want to be mormons or any other religion and that we just want to be left alone. Not everyone wants or needs to be mormon or any religion. If missionaries try to contact us in any fashion again, there will be a harassment report made to the local authorities. Goes to prove that people can leave the church, but the church can't leave the people alone. Leave people alone when they ask to be left alone
