Usually getting help from the LDS church is getting in touch with a member, a bishop, or other person that attends the church. They are great at passing along the information and helping out. If you can't reach them by phone, try getting in contact with the missionaries as they also can get the needed help. Other than that, I have been a lifelong member and after visiting many churches, this is the one I am most comfortable with.
