  I dropped off my baby for backup at this center. My baby only speaks and understands Chinese so originally I am happy the center assigned a teacher who can speak Chinese that makes my baby’s life easy. However, it is the opposite. This Taiwanese teacher did not even know how to care for a backup baby, and even said he has language issue when she called me for an early pickup. I thought it might be the problem of my baby, but until I saw he is doing great today. I also asked my son that did you want to come to this DC tomorrow and are you happy here multiple times, and he said yes. I am not seeing any issue for my son that he is just new to this new environment. He has been in DC before and I never saw such issue. Now I finally understand, this teacher does not like backup dropoff and is biased. Not sure if there are other victims before but I can see she was good at this. This bad teacher just knew my baby for half day, how dare you pretend to be professional on the opinion that my baby is not language proficient? Such no-human teacher from this DC. What a shame. Update: the next day I switched to another Bright Horizon in a different location and my boy is doing so great. The teachers are much warm and nice. My boy ate all the lunch and stayed in the other center full day including the snap, even this is his first time at this site. So this is definitely not the problem of my baby! Since both belongs under the BH name, the opposite records from this two sites are the best evidence. Again, this proves that this BH in Sunnyvale is not treating backup drop even with normal humanity. Also, please be careful this center is hiring fake 5 start review in Google to mislead parents. You can cheat others with AI writing, but not me since that happens to be my professional.

  Overall, we are extremely satisfied and truly happy and proud that our child attended Bright Horizons Sunnyvale. He was just 9 months old when we enrolled him in the Infant class with Ms. Lisa and Ms. Sheri. Within just two weeks, our son learned to pick up food and eat independently under Ms. Cheri’s guidance. She is one of the most experienced and skilled caregivers we have known. While she may sometimes come across as very direct, her teaching abilities are exceptional. Teaching such skills to infants is not easy, but she does it effortlessly—it truly feels like magic. When he moved on to the Toddler class, we were fortunate once again to have an outstanding, caring, and talented teacher, Ms. Andrea. All the children become deeply attached to her. Even today, at over 5 years old, my son still remembers and misses her fondly.

  Both of our children attend this daycare from infants up until TK, and choosing it has been one of the best decisions we’ve made as parents. Seeing how happy and excited our kids are each day truly says it all. The staff treats them like family, with so much patience, warmth, and genuine care. We feel completely at ease knowing our children are safe, loved, and encouraged to grow in such a positive environment. The communication is wonderful, and we appreciate being kept informed and included. We are incredibly grateful for everything this daycare does for our family and highly recommend it to any parent looking for a place they can truly trust.

  Our little one transitioned from Home based care to Day care at Bright Horizons and the Teachers did a fantastic job of handling this phase with utmost care. Teachers are super helpful, patient, caring and are also accommodative of any requests/changes you have! Super greatful for the excellent team behind this and couldn’t ask for a better place for my kid!
