Habitat for Humanity Saskatchewan is a nonprofit organization that provides affordable homeownership opportunities for hardworking, low-income families in Regina, Saskatoon and Prince Albert.
Habitat homes are built with the help of local volunteers, future homeowners, donors and community partners, through donations of product, time or financial contributions. Once complete, the new homes are purchased by families, who carry a zero down payment, interest free mortgage.
Habitat Saskatchewan also operates the Habitat ReStores in Regina, Saskatoon and Prince Albert, home and building supply stores that sells new and gently used items in the second-hand market. The revenues generated is used toward building homes throughout Saskatchewan.
