My Mother had passed away on 9/26/2025.
We had decided on direct cremation mostly because we were told it would only take a couple of weeks to complete and I’d be able to pick her ashes up and bring her home soon. She wasn’t cremated until 10/28/2025. It was heartbreaking knowing that my Mom’s body had been laying there for over 30 days awaiting cremation due to Wilson & Kratzer’s negligence. Their claims to help loved ones during the grieving process is so fake. I had to continuosly call/email for updates and if/when I heard back, it was just more excuses. It caused so much added stress to an already stressful situation of losing my Mom. I don’t understand how a company who claims to be understanding and helpful to loved ones could/did create so much disappointment.
I hope that no other family goes through the same nightmare that I had to go through.

This is our second service with Wilson & Kratzer and they were amazing to work with; especially Celina. She listened, didn’t try to oversell to us, and was so easy to work with. That was exactly what I needed when planning my mom’s service. We did a Buddhist ceremony and everything was basically set up for us and the monk. The other staff was very helpful and sweet as well.

I want to sincerely thank the staff at Wilson & Kratzer for the compassionate and professional care they provided during my mother’s funeral service. From start to finish, everything was handled with dignity, sensitivity, and attention to detail, which brought our family great comfort during such a difficult time.
A special thank you to the two gentlemen (I believe their names are Robert and Joel) who assisted us throughout the service — their calm presence, kindness, and respectful demeanor meant so much. They guided us gently and made sure every part of the day went smoothly.
We are also incredibly grateful to Celina Hernandez for her exceptional support and coordination. She was understanding, patient, and truly listened to our wishes. Celina made a difficult process feel a little lighter, and her efforts did not go unnoticed.
Thank you again to the entire team for making my mother’s final farewell a meaningful and respectful experience.

Sylvester Duun II was exceptional. He walked me through the whole process at a pace that worked for me. He gave me a detail break of all my fee's and showed where the fees were on the website.
The area were we held the funeral was beautiful. All my guess loved the way my mother looked and was very impressed with the service. I am very happy with the choice we made.
Thank you Sylvester, you did an amazing job.

If you request immediate assistance, yes. If the family wishes to spend a short time with the deceased to say good-bye, that’s perfectly acceptable. Your funeral director will come when your time is right.
Should I choose Burial or Cremation?
Burial in a casket is the most common method of disposing of remains in the United States, although entombment also occurs. Cremation is increasingly selected because it can be less expensive and allows for the memorial service to be held at a more convenient time in the future when relatives and friends can come together.
A funeral service followed by cremation need not be any different from a funeral service followed by a burial. Usually, cremated remains are placed in urn before being committed to a final resting place. The urn may be buried, placed in an indoor or outdoor mausoleum or columbarium, or interred in a special urn garden that many cemeteries provide for cremated remains. The remains may also be scattered, according to state law.
What is the purpose of embalming?
Embalming sanitizes and preserves the body. Embalming makes it possible to lengthen the time between death and the final disposition, allowing family members time to arrange and participate in the type of service most comforting to them.
