When I left Darling & Fischer in Los Gatos with several cars following me, I was told by Andrew that there would be signs at Los Gatos Memorial Park showing us where to park. When we arrived, there was one little sign pointing to the left. We drove there and couldn't find any guidance on where to park. Finally, we had to turn around. I went into the first building and asked the girl where we should park. She had no idea what I was talking about. After finding parking on our own we couldn't find where the inurnment was going to be. Thirty or more people in our group were all scattered trying to find the location of where the inurnment would take place. Once we found the location two workers showed up with food and drink in hand looking like they had just been taken from their lunch break. On top of that my actual contract was incorrect showing that I only purchased one interment rights. They have yet to correct it. I actually paid for two, one for my wife and one for me. Not a very professional operation.

Andrew and the team were professional, caring, and attentive throughout our difficult time. In addition to the thorough preparations, the burial went as smoothly as one could hope so that we could focus on our loved ones. Also the grounds were well-maintained and peaceful, which honors the one laid to rest and us who will be visiting regularly. All around a great staff, place, and experience.

During this difficult time of planning for the burial of my sister, Andrew Danielsen was so helpful. He was kind and caring and very supportive. He guided me throughout the entire process including coordinating with the mortuary. Our family truly appreciates Andrew's personal attention to all the details. The day of the gravesite service, everything was perfect. The beautiful Los Gatos Memorial Park is also where our parents and many of our other family members have been laid to rest. Thank you Andrew for making this experience the very best it could be. Sincerely, Margie

I was very pleased with Anna that helped me on the phone being I live in the Central Valley. She was so patient and helpful. The day of she help my family by marking other family members sites, so we could visit before our scheduled service for my mother. We have three different sets of family in this cemetery.

Frequently Asked Questions About Los Gatos Memorial Park

When I call, will someone come right away?

If you request immediate assistance, yes. If the family wishes to spend a short time with the deceased to say good-bye, that’s perfectly acceptable. Your funeral director will come when your time is right.

Should I choose Burial or Cremation?

Burial in a casket is the most common method of disposing of remains in the United States, although entombment also occurs. Cremation is increasingly selected because it can be less expensive and allows for the memorial service to be held at a more convenient time in the future when relatives and friends can come together. A funeral service followed by cremation need not be any different from a funeral service followed by a burial. Usually, cremated remains are placed in urn before being committed to a final resting place. The urn may be buried, placed in an indoor or outdoor mausoleum or columbarium, or interred in a special urn garden that many cemeteries provide for cremated remains. The remains may also be scattered, according to state law.
