John 3 “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. “ The Bible talks about people like Smith: “Matthew 24:24: "For false christs and false prophets will arise and perform great signs and wonders, so as to lead astray, if possible, even the elect". Jesus is God: “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. … And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.” God was not a man before. He always existed for eternity. He is the creator of all. “Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I am.”” John 8:58 “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.” - God We cannot even begin to understand God, let alone “become” one. There is only one God. “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.” God said: “You are my witnesses,” declares the Lord, “and my servant whom I have chosen, that you may know and believe me and understand that I am he. Here I come to worship, learn, and enjoy good fellowship. Also to serve, enjoy, and sometimes to play. I have found friends here and felt the spirit of the Lord. It is a good place.
