About

Church
*Please visit the temple website for open hours and appointments.* Temples of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints are considered houses of God, a place of holiness and peace separate from the preoccupations of the world. They provide a place where Church members make formal promises and commitments to God. They are also the place where the highest sacraments of the faith occur — the marriage of couples and the "sealing" of families for eternity. Temples serve as the only place where ceremonies such as baptism and eternal marriage can be performed on behalf of those who have died. Temples point Latter-day Saints to Jesus Christ and their eventual life with Him.

Pretty amazing Mormon temple church. Not Mormon and not religious, but it's just an amazing place to visit. The building architecture and gardens are pristine, beautiful, and awe inspiring. There are some great views from the upper section roof of the temple. I do not think you can go in unless you are a member of the church, but they are very nice about welcoming you to the visitors center which is also interesting and informative about the Mormon religion. It's pretty high tech in there too. The lights were also beautiful at night. Thank you to the organization for making the exterior grounds freely accessible to the public. Free parking on site. Dogs are also welcome on a leash.
