  Hi it’s hard for me to write this review . But Mc Kenzies Mortuary really helped me through some difficult times . I had my husband sent to Forest Lawn after he passed . We had always done business with them . When I went to the meeting they informed me that they do cremations but with a package deal. I wanted to bring my. Husband home . The gentleman was kind and said I’d be better off sending him to another mortuary that did more cremations . I was very upset even through they did not charge me for having him there a few days .I had to transport him again . I guess just cremation would have been very costly there if not in a package . It’s a long story . I called Mc Kenzies told them the issues . They transported my husband to their mortuary . Also the doctor did not sign the death certificate during the time needed . It was a big mess . McKenzie’s did everything they could to help me in both situations . They continually called and faxed the doctor to sign the death certificate . Took weeks . It was a mess . Finally we ask a different doctor to sing. So we could get it recorded and it worked . Because their faculties are in Long Beach and Long Beach has it’s own Health Department I received the Death Certificate within a few days . McKenzies picked the death certificate . I thought I would have had to wait another four to six weeks . I had lost the Love of my Life . I was devastated. The hard work and diligence it took to get this mess straightened out was hard . McKenzies walked me through everything but they did the work . I was very pleased. Their prices are reasonable also . I highly recommend McKenzies Mortuary .

  The entire staff at McKenzie mortuary is awesome. They were always concerned about me & asked questions to make sure I was handling the grieving process. Grieving is a process. It takes a while to go through. Even many months later, they called to check on me. I found that very comforting. If you have a choice for funeral homes, choose McKenzie. You will be very pleased.

  Ken did a great job of handling our mother's funeral! I would highly recommend him to anyone who has lost a loved one.
