- ATAna ThompkinsSep 27, 20172.0I like the LDS churches because many of them provide good accommodations when you're bike touring thru the great Disunited States of America. This one was no exception. Except that a head guy showed up at 5:10 am, 5 minutes before I was due to get up and 15 before leaving, and actually used the little tykes of the congregation against me all in the name of fear. How bizarre. I've stayed at a lot of these churches on my trips and have never come upon one that had a school or entertained kids in the morning. I guess I found the one LDS church that doesn't follow the scheme of the others! How lucky am I?!
