Habitat for Humanity Greater Fresno Area builds houses with families that demonstrate a need for safe and affordable housing, have the ability to pay a mortgage, and possess a willingness to partner in the construction of their home. This partnership engages community supporters to work alongside these families in the home building process. Homeowners invest hundreds of “sweat equity” hours into building their Habitat house and then pay back an affordable loan. Our vision is of a world where everyone has a decent place to live.
