Aspiration has some great aspects. The Reggio Emilia approach encourages creativity and independence. The playground is excellent, and the focus on art and activity-based learning which made me interest about this school. However, I’ve experienced several frustrations. When I inquired about part-time classes, the manager said she would look into it but never followed up. I asked couple times and she just postpone it without any respond. It often feels like the school prioritizes families with more financial resources, which can be discouraging. In terms of teaching, while some teachers were great, one of my daughter’s preschool teacher was cold and disengaged. She didn’t connect with my child emotionally, which led to my daughter losing confidence and feeling left behind. It was a difficult experience. On a positive note, I want to thank Miss Melissa, who was different in TK class. She was warm and attentive, and I’m very grateful for her care and support. In general, while Aspiration has some good aspects, I can not recommend it. It feels like the school focuses more on appearance and financial gain than on the children and their families' benefit.

We have loved our experience here thus far - our child attended and had a fantastic experience in Room Due, with amazing teachers and friends. I think some of the elements of the overall experience that mattered the most to us as parents: 1. Incredibly transparent: we knew everything that was going on with our child at all times - what they were up to, what they had eaten, whether they napped, etc. 2. Thoughtful and talented teachers: we met with Ms Sonja and Ms Aileen even before we decided on Aspirations and loved them - since then, multiple times they took the chance to meet with us individually in 'parent teacher conferences', to get to know our child, and to establish a relationship 3. Such creative and engaging activities: art shows, animal encounters, games, even trash day was an adventure haha - there was always something engaging and enriching that our child would come home so excited to share 4. The other parents also clearly CARE - this is something you cannot purchase or fabricate but has a huge impact on the community: amazing support for extracurriculars and after school meetups, thoughtful partnership when conflict between kids arises, etc.

My daughter has been attending Aspirations for over a year now. We have been so impressed with every single teacher and staff member and the genuine care they have to see our child succeed. Our daughter had a tough transition starting and Ms Sonya in Room Due was so patient and loving with her, giving us ideas of how to make her transition from home to school easier every day. They gave us constant updates in those early days to ease our worries. This is such a special school and not to mention, a beautiful property for the kids to play and explore!

Aspirations School of Learning have great directors and teachers. My daughter (Nancy) loves her experience in this beautiful school of learning. We really appreciate them and I highly recommend them. I'm an educator myself and understand how much they do for our kids.

My child went to aspirations from 2020 to 2022 when COVID hit. We chose this daycare mainly because of the gorgeous playground and frankly we didn’t had many options since most daycare were closed. My child is energetic and smart and question everything that doesn’t make sense to him. In his 2nd year, her teacher kept sending my child to the principal office claiming he wasn’t listening and putting other kids in danger. I kept getting incident reports about his wounds on his face. Her teacher kept contradicting herself when I asked about details of the accidents. but his teacher said my child scratched herself and when I follow up she started shifting responsibility to other teachers. I talked to Angie the director and she blame my child claiming she was too much to handle for the teachers. The situation got worse when Angie threaten to expel my child if we don’t hire a 1-on-1 shadow to follow her all day at Aspiration. My husband and I can’t believe that she expected us to continue to pay aspiration and pay an addition of $2k-3k to hire the shadow. This is a long overdue review because this experience has been haunting me and my child even to this day. If you have a smart and energetic child who refused to do art and play quietly, this is not the daycare for you.
