As a single mother, the church has provided me support in unexpected ways. Members include my children in Sunday and weeknight activities. I've been given remarkable leadership opportunities and have learned more about being a disciple of Christ than anywhere else I've attended. The leadership knows my name and consistently look for me and my family each week, often reaching out if I've missed a few Sundays to check on my well-being. The members are authentic, caring and strive to live the doctrine of Jesus Christ with the same determinization as I do. Attending this church confirms to me that we are all members of the same family, and the literal children of God.
