Such a beautiful place both inside and out. The staff is amazing to work with. Aimee is the first person to greet you once you enter the lobby. She's warm, caring and knowledgeable. Alison was so wonderful to work with. She was caring, compassionate and was able to walk me through the planning and process. Alison went above and beyond for our family. Nick was also such a big help. So kind and sensitive to our needs. So grateful for Steve Mora and his staff. Without hesitation I highly recommend Conejo Mountain Funeral Home.

Conejo Mountain Funeral Home, Memorial Park and Crematory is an incredible place.
The funeral home and cemetery are set back against the mountains, in Camarillo.
The grounds are very beautiful, serene and peaceful. We arrived at 8:00am for a tour of the grounds and to discuss the logistics of the expected passing of my mom. When my wife and I stepped out of the car there was a flock of geese flying by overhead and deer that could be seen in the hills adjacent to the cemetery. Whatever arrangement I was going to make I knew, from that moment, that this was the place for my mom.
We first took a tour of the grounds with Patrick. He was excellent in explaining everything very thoroughly and showing us all of the options and their various price points. After the tour we met with Destiny. Destiny, like Patrick, was great at explaining everything very thoroughly when it came to the actual service and all of the different options available.
Between Patrick and Destiny it really felt like they cared.
I gave Destiny my information and my wife and I left.
My mom passed away 3 months later. I was with her when she passed and I waited for Conejo Mountain to come and pick her up. The gentleman that picked her up was very respectful and allowed me as much time as I needed to say goodbye.
I received a call from Destiny the next day acknowledging receipt of my mom and my wife and I went to the funeral home that day to meet with her. Patrick saw us and remembered us. He came in to the room we were in to say hi and we chatted for a few minutes.
Destiny was absolutely incredible through the entire process. For personal reasons, I decided to do a direct cremation with a viewing prior to the cremation.
On the day of the viewing, Mario, was our funeral attendant and he was great. He had a very calming demeanor which helped me stay calm. He explained everything and offered us anything we felt we needed. Everything was perfect.
I cannot say enough positive things about Conejo Mountain Funeral Home, Memorial Park and Crematory and their staff. They gave me sincere comfort at a very tough time and that will never be forgotten.
Thank you
