Disappointed in this church and a place of worship that so adamantly disregards community needs even when brought to their attention. It is located directly across from Arcadia High School which for some reason unbeknownst to me always has heavy traffic during pick up and drop off hours. The church is only in session on weekends and has an absolutely empty lots that are not used Monday through Friday when school is in session. Due to poor city planning or high volume enrollees there is not enough space to pick up kids. Many parents are forced to double park or park on red to pick up their children. The high school's traffic issues are real and can be easily alleviated if this church can allow for 15 minutes of pick and drop off. Instead they un-compassionately inquire if you are a member and close their gate or give out a note saying you can’t park there. Where is 'Love thy neighbor'? Opening the parking lot isn't just practical, it's a Christian thing to do. Maybe it's time to rethink priorities and use the resources God gave you to serve the community? What would Jesus do? Saving kids life from danger should be church priority irregardless if they are a member.
