Had 2 months prior to memorial . Susana did not follow through. No flag. No taps. Nothing. The cemetery didn't even know about the burial that day after confirming 3 days earlier. Worst service ever. Left without closer for my mom. Horrible service. No help from higgins or answering on day of service. Don't recommend these people

I found that everyone we felt with were very thorough and helpful. They made us feel special. They followed through. And double check on all details.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Higgins Funeral Home We are deeply grateful to Higgins Funeral Home for the compassion and dignity they showed our family during the loss of our beloved mother. A very special thank you to Mila Valdivia. She guided us through the funeral arrangements with kindness, patience, and genuine care. Because of her, we were able to honor our mother’s beautiful life in a meaningful and peaceful way. With sincere appreciation, Mirna Gomez Nunez 🤍

Hello My name is Unzell Ross. My Son Unzell Ross Jr. (My only Son) is currently in Your care awaiting his Funeral Service on March 13, 2026. This is the most difficult time in Me and my family’s life and obviously we are All devastated. I just went over your Funeral Home Reviews and was impressed with most of your prior family’s experiences and reviews. There were a couple of reviews that were concerning so I want to make sure that We don’t have any negative experiences. The Arranger, Roland Wiley took us through the process very carefully and professionally and answered all the questions that we had at the time. Exactly what we needed today. The only concern I have is that we were not able to choose what casket Unzell Jr. service will be held in which is very important to Me and My Family. Is there a different fee or a policy that you have to be limited to 1 choice? The Casket will only be used for the service at The Landing Place Church. Please contact Racquel or Tiana as their names are both on the contract. We Thank you for your service and hope that we can come to an agreement on a choice in the casket. 🙏🏾

When our mom passed, a dear friend recommended Higgins Chapel, and we are so grateful they did. From the very first conversation, the staff was warm, compassionate, and understanding during one of the most difficult times for our family. Mr. Wiley walked us through the entire process with such care, patience, and genuine compassion. They helped with everything — including coordinating the arrangements and guiding us through the process for the National Cemetery — which meant so much to our family. Every detail was handled thoughtfully, and they helped create a beautiful and meaningful day to honor our mom. We truly appreciate the kindness and professionalism shown to us and would highly recommend Higgins Chapel to anyone in need of their services.
