I can't say that I recommend this place. The two people I talked to throughout the process were nice enough and very responsive, but there were a few issues. Even though my deceased loved one pre-paid her cremation and put my name and address down to receive her ashes, they still acted hesitant to give me them, since I'm not next of kin. First, they said they needed to see her advance directive that I was on, which makes no sense, since she isn't alive. Next, they almost released the ashes to next of kin, despite me being the one on the paperwork, AND me stressing to them to NOT give the ashes to that person when they were received from the crematorium. They also charge $275 to mail the ashes out of state, which is an absolutely exploitative upcharge, as it only costs somewhere around ~ $115 via the required USPS priority express. They also had a large charge for mailing the death certificates, somewhere around $25, which also isn't ok. Please do better next time and follow the deceased person's wishes without question. Not everyone wants their ashes to go to their next of kin.

We are deeply grateful for the compassionate and professional care we received during a very difficult time. From our first meeting, the staff treated our family with kindness, patience, and respect. Every detail was handled with thoughtfulness and dignity, and their support made the process much easier to bear.

I received an *unsolicited* offer in my snail mail to do business with these clods. I supposed it's serio-comic for a funeral director to say in effect, "When you or a loved one dies, we'd like for you to spend your money on us. I called the number listed on their form. My call was answered by a man who didn't identify himself. I said in response to a question their form asked ("Have you ever planned a funeral?) that I might be planning a funeral for him if he *ever* approaches me again with a piece of mail like that. He became silent. I hung up after five seconds. Posted May 21, 2018
