The Yuma Arizona Temple was announced in April 2024, by President Russell M. Nelson as the 9th temple in the state. The temple is currently in the planning and approval phase. A groundbreaking date has not yet been announced. Plans call for a single-story temple of around 18,500 square feet and an accompanying ancillary building.
