  I had dinner with a former neighbor and friend of mine at McDowell Village this evening. Everyone working in the dining area was pleasant and attentive. A special "shout out" to Martha N. for her upbeat energy, for being so friendly and personable, and for having such a great handshake!

  Great community!!!. The staff is always professional, friendly, and welcoming, which creates such a positive atmosphere from the moment you walk in. The interior is consistently clean, well-maintained, and inviting. What really stands out is how fun and engaging the community is, they do a wonderful job hosting events and creating an uplifting environment for residents. It’s also clear they value family involvement and make loved ones feel included and welcome. Overall, a wonderful place with caring staff and a vibrant community.

  There is so much to do here. From activities, outings, exercise class, and even personal training. I use the gym daily, I try to do it twice a day.

  Jody in maintenance does a great job. She seems to work in the outdoor areas. The gardens are looking better, and other areas are looking cleaner and neater. Saw her using a blower in the west parking lot the other day, clearing out the yellow blossoms from the mesquite and the Palo Verdes. Big job.

  We looked at several assisted living facilities and are very happy that we chose McDowell Village for our mother. Executive staff members are responsive and caring, there are many activities for residents, there's a lovely dining room and good food, onsite physical therapy is available billed through Medicare, and onsite visiting primary and specialist care is available and billed through Medicare. Transportation is usually available and capable. Caregivers do a good job with baths and other services that you may be paying for. We're very happy with the safe, clean, and fun environment at McDowell Village for our 88 year old mother.
