  ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I attended this church in the late 1990s, when it was still known as Phoenix First Assembly, under the preaching and teaching of Pastor Tommy Barnett. What he taught me as a young believer had a lasting impact on my life. Even through later seasons of confusion and drift, the truth of Scripture that was planted in me there is what ultimately brought me back to solid, biblical faith. Pastor Tommy’s preaching was clear, Scripture-centered, and rooted in genuine love for people. That foundation mattered more than I realized at the time, and I am grateful for it today. I know Pastor Tommy is still alive, and that he and his son Luke Barnett continue to make a significant impact in Phoenix. Knowing the legacy, the heart for people, the outreach programs, and the emphasis on loving others while teaching the Word, I have no doubt this church continues to do meaningful work in the community. Based on my experience then—and the fruit that has clearly continued—I confidently give this church five stars.

  This isn’t the Church that Christ handed down to the apostles ☦️, but Dream City, even with its postmodern beliefs, does seem to do good for the local community - more akin to a YMCA or community center than the Church.

  Dream City has always been a great addition to the neighborhood. They always keep it neat and clean and very welcoming. While I'm still in between religions, I will say the Catholic Church disappointed me when I tried to baptize my daughter. They told me there need to pay $500 or be a member for a year. My daughter was a newborn and the lady on the phone told me she will go to hell if I don't baptize her. Well I told her I didn't have $500 at the time, this was 13 years ago, and I wasn't a member for a year. And that's what she told me. After that I realized religion is all about money. So I tried to find an alternative. Dream City was an option. I believe they would baptize my daughter immediately. She's not 13 years old, and still not baptized. But that's my fault because the Catholic Church really made me rethink things.
