About

Church
*Please visit the temple website for open hours and appointments.* Temples of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints are considered houses of God, a place of holiness and peace separate from the preoccupations of the world. They provide a place where Church members make formal promises and commitments to God. They are also the place where the highest sacraments of the faith occur — the marriage of couples and the "sealing" of families for eternity. Temples serve as the only place where ceremonies such as baptism and eternal marriage can be performed on behalf of those who have died. Temples point Latter-day Saints to Jesus Christ and their eventual life with Him.

Absolutely gorgeous grounds. Such a peaceful place inside and out. Not everyone can inside (limited to church members), but the grounds outside are enjoyable to walk around.

We were not allowed inside the temple as we are not Mormon but the Christmas light display was breathtaking. There were lots of members available to answer questions

The Christmas lights will be up until December 30th. Admission is free. Parking is free. If you haven't gone yet, it will put the Christmas Spirit into you! Go. See. Have a good time. Dress warm. Drink hot cocoa. 🥰

The Christmas season temple lights is truly a lovely place for the whole family. Open to the public - this free event - has been a tradition in our family for years. Not being religious or of the same faith should not be a deterrent. I highly recommend checking out the small display of nativity’s from around

I was told I was in CCA taking a program for the Mormon Temple that I could always come here for help and I came into a bad situation to where instead of going back to drugs and the street life I came to ask for help and I got shunned on by the Mormon Temple looked at me like I was a piece of trash when I asked for help and resources they said we don't have any money here and that's why I was there to asking for help I was already intimidated when they're in there because when I was Mexican and had to have tattoos but they showed me I would not be shunned on
