  My father lived at Terra Pointe Memory Care for 2 years battling dementia, and I am deeply grateful for the care he received there. The staff consistently treated him with dignity, patience and compassion. They provided excellent day-to-day care, including bathing, feeding,, medication management, and engaging in activities that were appropriate for his condition. I was especially reassured by the in-room monitoring system, which allowed the staff to respond quickly if he fell or needed help. Terra Pointe also did an outstanding job in coordinating with Hospice, ensuring my father remained comfortable and well cared for every step of the way. Knowing he was safe and in capable hands gives family a tremendous peace if mind. I would highly recommend Terra Pointe Memory Care to any family seeking attentive, professional and passionate care for a loved one with memory loss.

  I found the perfect home at Terra Pointe Memory Care for my mom (age 96, with mild dementia and a history of falls). I was impressed by the welcoming staff that greeted me on my tour, by the spotless, attractive facilities, and by the all-inclusive services. The SafelyYou real-time AI-enabled camera system and the responsiveness of Terra Pointe's well-trained staff provided me with the peace of mind I've longed for since her first devastating fall while she was living independantly. After determining the appropriateness of their services and their ability to keep my mother safe and well, I looked for clues that my mother would be happy and surrounded by people she would enjoy on a daily basis. Mom isn't easily tempted to join in group fun or projects but I was hopeful after meeting the wonderful activity directors and viewing that months' schedule. I knew immediately that my mom would be overjoyed by one unique activity - the frequent therapy dogs visits. Mom loves dogs! But even more than dogs, my mom loves 'family' in its widest sense as our natural family is very small. During my tour and several pre-move visits, I was happy to see how graciously and tenderly the carers, administrators, and the kitchen and maintenence staff interacted with residents - like family. I was touched that this included me as well. It's been a difficult decision -- I really needed that hug. The leasing process was straightforward. The requirements and suggestions for move-in were all reasonable and helpful. I was welcomed to personalize the room I'd selected for my mother to help with her transition. It was easy to make it comfortable and familiar while keeping within the guidelines for safety and ease of care. Mom's space is both attractive and uniquely 'her'. She loved it from the start. The meals are exceptional and the chef makes every effort to encourage healthy eating with a variety of foods and customization where needed. She makes fantastic desserts! The building is attractive inside and out. I especially like the configuration with two secure and inviting inner courtyards. The central activity open space and adjacent more serene library, the two dining room options, and the wide hallways throughout offer residents a variety of living, communing, and walkable areas. The surrounding streets are quiet, the neighborhood good, and the location convenient. Mom has only been a resident for 3 weeks but she's settled in so well it seems much longer. She adores her carers and the specialized staff that help her continue living an interesting and fulfilling life. She has become more social and is making friends. Unfortunately, Mom needed medical attention this week. I am relieved to say that she is on the mend thanks to her carers' reports to the in-house health director and assistant who brought in the contract medical professional. Samples for labs and even xrays were done in the comfort of her room and healing measures were taken immediately. In the past, I have needed to initiate medical response and have not always been kept informed. I was beyond grateful for the rapid response to my mother's symptoms as well as the daily calls regarding her treatment and progress as I am not able visit daily. I have found a place and people who can care for my beloved mother far better than I ever could on my own. It is an answer to my every wish for her. And, best of all, she loves Terra Pointe and its wonderful people. I look forward to providing more feedback about her life at Terra Pointe and my enjoyment as just-a-daughter instead of a struggling caregiver.

  5 stars Terra Pointe Memory Care has been an incredible blessing for our family. The staff is not only highly trained but genuinely compassionate—they treat every resident with the dignity, patience, and respect they deserve. The facility is always clean, safe, and welcoming, with thoughtful activities tailored to meet the individual needs of the residents. Communication with families is excellent; they keep us updated and involved, which brings great peace of mind. We feel truly fortunate to have found a place where our loved one is so well cared for and valued. Highly recommended!
