  I didn't actually attend the Ajo congregation, but as a member of the stake (geographical area) with a volunteer position that alotts him keys, my husband took me on a little tour of this beautiful and historic (in my eyes) building. The main building has the chapel, multi-purpose room (gym), relief society (women's group) room, a huge and incredible kitchen, bathrooms and baptismal font with a small attached room. The chapel has a cry room, something my mom says the buildings all used to have. Through the back doors, you enter an outdoor courtyard lined with a few classrooms. Ok, so building aside, I've attended The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints my entire life. If you want to learn about Jesus Christ, His earthly mission, and sacrifice for all humankind this is where you do it. You will not find a sweeter peace or stronger Spirit that you will here. The people in Ajo are pretty cool too. Give it a try.

  It is a small congregation but, you will feel the love here.The congregation here takes care of each other.

  My family of six attended church in this little chapel for a little over 2 years. The congregation is small - usually about 20 people. Seeing new faces bring smiles to everyone. The congregation is a mix of Spanish speaking and English speaking - and both are accommodated throughout the meetings. On the 3rd Sunday of the month there is a potluck lunch - such a fun tradition we like to stop and visit on those weeks.
