  I was having trouble with my other daycare and reached out to Kindercare to look at options. Within twenty minutes of submitting the e-mail, the director, Gina, was calling me to give me all the information I requested. 24 hours later, I was given a tour of the place. It didn't escape me that during the tour kids could break away to come say hi or give her a hug, nor that Gina was able to name every child by name and clearly had more than a surface relationship with them. The next day my son went for a trial day, but before I left, I had already started filling out the admission paperwork. All of the staff are great with the children and can keep up with their energy levels. I've never seen them get frustrated or angry with anyone misbehaving, and they are committed to changing their approach to find what works right for you child, not just a single way that should work for everyone. The building is always kept neat and clean, even during events like the holiday concert and the valentine's day dance. They clearly and effectively communicate about things in advance and are always willing to talk in depth about the type of day your child had during pickup. The three staff that I want to specifically shout out are Ms. Nessa, who in addition to being my son's absolute favorite, also has some child whispering ability that can normally turn a crying drop off into a smile. She is phenomenal and can't give her enough praise. Mr. Nick and Mr. Nate are also wonderful, they have a great way with the kids and are always on the move. They work in little inside connections with the kids, from high-fives and daps, to little jokes. All the other staff have always been helpful and kind, although I have less interaction with them. If you are on the fence, do yourself a favor, call and talk to Gina, go for a quick visit, you will be sold before you walk out the door.

  I’ve really noticed a positive change at the center lately — the classroom my kid is in has been so much cleaner and more organized! I wanted to give a big shout-out to the blonde woman who’s been clearly putting effort into creating a clean, welcoming space for our kids. She’s also spent time working with the children, and you can tell right away she has a genuine passion for what she does. I actually learned she’s a teacher, but I didn’t catch her name — she absolutely deserves recognition, as many of us parents have noticed and appreciated her hard work!

  I cannot say enough wonderful things about Waunakee Kindercare. We feel so fortunate to have found such a well run daycare center with such friendly staff. Both my young (under 2) children attend here, and both of them are greeted by name and with warm welcoming smiles from every staff member. The director is great and communicates very well. I truly feel that they love our children and I feel good having them in a safe welcoming environment. They do so many more fun activities than I could come up with at home- all sorts of arts and crafts projects, running around on the age-appropriate playgrounds outside, playing in the full size gym on rainy days, and playing on the splash pad in the summer! They run right in to see their friends and teachers in the morning and come home tired and happy every day. The teachers all do a great job communicating with us on their days via the app- and send lots of photos every day of their cute little smiling faces. We couldn't be happier, and highly recommend them to anyone looking safe and happy place for their kids to play!

  My one-year old started about a month ago. The director and staff have been wonderful! My kiddo is not happy at drop off when I have to leave him but they have made him feel so happy and loved and now he greets his teachers at drop off and starts playing before we even leave the building. The cameras in the classroom allowed me to check in on him before leaving and allowed me to feel at ease starting my work day. Also, the daily updates of his day and pictures help too!! 🥹 I highly recommend checking out Waunakee KinderCare.

  Our son has been coming to KinderCare since he was a newborn. We have had a wonderful experience the past two years. Would highly recommend. Gina and her staff have been wonderful!
