Dear Vancouver Knowledge Beginning Teachers and Staff, Too bad that Euna might not be old enough to remember her first set of teachers, but Christina and I will always remember those that were there for Euna, e.g., Brooke, Lorica… (I apologize for not being able to list every single one). On Euna’s last day, Brooke handed us a wonder hand-written letter, where she wrote “Thank you for being a part of our class. You are such a special girl, filled our class with laughter, smiles, and positive energy. I am honored that I got to be your teacher…” We were so touched. Well, thank you for being in Euna’s early life, showing Euna how a great staff and teachers can work together to fill her life with laughter, smiles, and positive energy every day! You guys were such positive role models for Euna, and we are honored to have been a part of Vancouver Knowledge Beginning Family. We sincerely thank you!!! Euna, Christina, Andy

We were previously enrolled at Knowledge Beginnings, and the only reason we left was because our school district wouldn’t transport to their center. If that hadn’t been the case, we would have never left. Unfortunately, the new program we switched to—ESD112—had their funding unexpectedly cut. What made it worse was that ESD112 administrators never informed parents that the last day of care would be June 11th. There was still a half-day of school on June 12th, and it wasn’t until the amazing providers at ESD112 gave us a personal heads up that we even found out there would be no care that day. At least they cared enough to say something. When I found out on June 10th that there would be no childcare coverage, I felt completely stuck. I reached out to Annie, the director at Knowledge Beginnings, and explained the situation. She was a true blessing. Annie made it possible for my children to start summer care immediately at her location. I honestly had no other options. She helped me avoid missing work and truly saved the day. What makes Knowledge Beginnings so special is the care, consistency, and community. My kids already knew the staff, and every provider there goes above and beyond. Annie and her team don’t just watch kids—they create a space where families feel supported and seen. We need more centers like this one. Thank you, Annie. Thank you to the entire Knowledge Beginnings team. You are one of the best daycare providers by far.

Let’s just say some of the posts in regards to Knowledge Beginnings are a bit biased. I have met a large number of the employees both at work and away from work. All of these employees have a vested interest in the safety and education of every child enrolled. Are there issues that occur during the normal daily activities, yes. Are they always resolved to the satisfaction of all parties involved, probably not. Let’s keep in mind that every single one of these employees are here because they want to have a positive impact on children. My recommendation, ignore these reviews and go in and meet the Director, Assistant Director, Office Manager and the room educators. Ask their background, the desired end state for your child, review the company policy and guidelines. Then make a decision based upon your interaction with the employees at Vancouver Knowledge Beginnings. I’d be surprised if you walk away with anything other than a positive experience.

We enrolled our daughter at the Fisher's Landing Knowledge Beginnings a very young age, around 2 years old. We did a lot of research first, as our child's safety was, and continues to be, our #1 priority. Although this location wasn't very close to us, we felt it was the best for our daughter. After meeting the center director, Felicia, and some of the 'teachers', we knew we were in the right place. We did opt for the enrichment classes, math and phonics. She finally moved on/graduated to kindergarten at the age of 5. The education she received there propelled her in kindergarten this past year. She continues to miss being there, often reminiscing about her time there. We would whole-heartedly recommend this location with this team to any parent. Thanks Felicia and the KB Team!
